Sandy Island is a small island off the coast of Carriacou, if you are a strong swimmer you could actually swim from Carriacou to Sandy Island, but I would not recommend it. It is a short 6min boat ride to this beautiful deserted island. The beach is the perfect shade of azure blue. I recommend doing a trip over to Sandy Island, if you do go, be sure to walk with everything you need for the time you are staying there because you will have to make a trip back to Carriacou if you need anything.
